This is the initiative of the Cordillera Police Office headed by Chief Superintendent Orlando Pestaño and Benguet Provincial Police Office headed by Senior Superintendent Wilben Mayor.
All local candidates from the gubernatorial down to board members were invited to join in the endeavor, said Mayor.
“In joining this covenant signing, the candidates showed their efforts to sustain and maintain the peaceful environment of the May 10 elections as the campaign season for the local elective positions will start in a few days,” Mayor added.
Campaign for local positions will start on March 26 and police expect friendly competitions among the candidates.
