Cayading: Fathers, for your information!

THIS column wishes to share with you a study done from the University of Pittsburgh that came from fatherless homes:

* 63 percent of all youth suicides.
* 90 percent of all homeless and runaway children.
* 85 percent of children who exhibit behavior disor ders.
* 71 percent of all high school dropouts.
* 75 percent of adolescent patients in chemical abuse centers.
* 70 percent of juveniles in state-sponsored institutions.
* 85 percent of all youths in prison.

Studies show that boys suffer most from the absence or noninvolvement of fathers. It shows that the forgotten contributors to child development and missing in action in the lives of children are the fathers. These numerous studies show that fathers make unique and irreplaceable contributions in the lives of their kids.

Fathers are UNIQUE because you provide something different from mothers. You are IRREPLACEABLE because when you, fathers are absent, the children suffer.
Being the strongest pillar of the family, do your part. Set an example.

Show your unconditional love to your children. Build a strong family foundation.... A lasting legacy your children to emulate "...the tasks connected with the home... that is the fundamental tasks of humanity. If the mother and father do not do their duty, there will be no next generation, or a next generation that is worse than none at all." -- Theodore Roosevelt

Have a great weekend!
