ARCHERS from the Baguio City National High School (BCNHS) left their mark en route to a 13 gold, 13 silver and 11 bronze medal production to bag the over-all championship in the Baguio City Invitational shoot for a cause at the Athletic Bowl archery range.
The BCNHS squad bagged the gold in the Cub girls' advance, cub girls' tyro, cadet girls' advance, cub boys' advance, cadet boys' advance, cadet boys, and cadet boys' compound bow.

BCNHS also had silver finishes in cub girls' advance, cub girls' tyro, bowman boys, cub boys, advance, cub boys advance b, cadet boys advance and cadet boys' tyro while they also reaped bronze medals in the cadet boys, cub boys, bowman boys, and cub girls.
La Union took the second place over-all with five gold medals in the bowman boys, cadet boys, yeoman girls, and bowman girls, while finishing second in the events yeoman girls, bowman girls, cub girls, and cadet girls.
Landing at third is ISA Team with five gold medals in the recurve bow seniors and recurve bow tyro while having six silver and two bronze medals.
Placing fourth is the University of Baguio with four golds and a silver, while Saint Louis University came in with three gold medals, 4 silver and four bronze medals.
Also winning medals in the event are SPED with six medals (2-2-2), Gandiva with ten medals (2-2-4), Baguio Central University with four medals, two gold and two silvers, University of the Philippines Baguio and San Beda with two gold medals apiece.
The three-day competitions kicked off in September 3 at the Baguio Archery Range aimed to gather the best archers from northern Luzon including Metro Manila for the improvement of the BCNHS Archery range.
Trophies and medals were given to the top three finishers in the Olympic and Qualification rounds of the tournament which also aim to hone the knowledge, physical and psychological skills of all participants in the three day activity was also organized by Gandiva. (Roderick Osis)
