Beauty's Secrets

MANY women try having their hair curled because of the misconception that curled hair is easier to maintain. But they are absolutely wrong because curled hair takes a lot of caring to do. Here are some tips for you to have a nice curl and how to maintain it.
1. Before having a curl, it is best to prepare your hair at its best health. If your hair is sensitized or damaged, it is best if you have several treatments to make your hair strong and healthy again before curling it. If you have virgin hair or healthy hair, then you can be assured that you will have good results of your curls and as long as your stylist is good.

2. Right after having a curl, I suggest that you have a hair treatment for curled hair so your curls would last longer, remain bouncy and to protect your hair from further damage.
3. Avoid pulling your hair down when you shampoo your hair or even when it dries to avoid it from loosening prematurely.
4. It is best if you use a shampoo and conditioner specifically for curled hair.
5. Avoid brushing your hair or combing it with fine comb. Oftentimes, combing your curls with your finger or wide tooth comb is enough.
6. Use a volumizing mousse if you want thicker looking hair or regular mousse if you just want a little emphasis on the curls. Some use gels or hair lotions if they want a wet look.
7. Experiment on different styles. You can do a lot of styles with curled hair; you can tie them, pin them into a bun and a lot more.
Have great day!
