UB Science High holds immersion camp

THE University of Baguio Science High School held its yearly immersion camp last February 10 to 12 at the Tubao Central School for a very minimal cost inclusive of food, lodging and transportation.

The UBSH students were able to immerse themselves and mingle with the Tubao elementary students. These elementary school children were very happy to receive educational materials from their mentors. The UBSH students were delighted to teach, play and bond with the younger ones while their class advisers acted as facilitators. This experience taught the UBHS students to value and prioritize their studies since not all children are given the equal chance to have good education. At an early age, they are also made more aware of their responsibility towards the community.
