a. Buy OTC products at the salon which are specific for your hair needs. Colored, rebonded, relaxed, waved hairs have different kinds of needs so you have to buy products in the salon especially made for them.

b. Different kinds of textures and damage of hair have specific needs so buy products especially made for them. If you have limp hair, then buy products to give it a volume. If you have extremely damaged hair then buy a shampoo for damaged hair.

c. Buy products that you can conveniently carry anywhere you go that will provide protection for your hair.

d. If you go to the beach or if you will be under the sun for a long period of time, there are products for these situations.

It is best to buy specific products especially made for the chemical treatment you had so you can maximize the effect of the treatment you had.
