Celebrating Philippines-Japan Friendship Day

LAST September 16, the Filipino–Japanese Foundation of Northern Luzon Inc. (FJFNLI), chaired by Carlos Teraoka and the Filipino–Japanese Friendship Association of Northern Luzon Inc. (FJFANLI) headed by Dr. Dorothy Kiley celebrated their 25th and 40th joint anniversary, respectively.
Their guest of honor, His Excellency Toshinao Urabe, Ambassador of Japan to the Philippines and his wife Madame Etsuko Urabe graced the event.
In his message, Ambassador Urabe encouraged the present and succeeding Nikkei–jin to continue to build roads of friendship between the Philippines and Japan.
A program in the morning and a cocktail reception and Kimono Show in the afternoon, which was presented by the FJFNLI in cooperation with the International Angel Association of Japan chaired by Mariko Higashimura and the Embassy of Japan, marked this special occasion.
