IT WAS an affair to remember. If there's one thing missing in Baguio, I suppose it's the booming of not only the visual and performing arts but also the literary arts.
Recently, Baboo Mondonedo launched her book "Stepping Stones" and Babeth Lolarga who wrote the intro or preface of said book set the program's mood when she requested Bubut Olarte to sing "Like a Rolling Stone."
Bishop Carlito Cenzon came not to bless the occasion but to get a copy of Baboo's book and join the afternoon's gig.
Here's one activity where we certainly miss Baguio's three witches but the heir apparent came...Sonia Daoas, Nonnette Bennet and of course, the author herself.
Tootsie, Baboo's daughter now Mrs. Angara, lit up the moment when she took center stage to thank her mom. In fact, Tootsie came with her daughter too making Baboo a proud grandmother.
