Arquillo was arrested after allegedly selling a sachet of shabu to a PDEA-CAR agent who acted as poseur buyer during the buy-bust operation at about 5 p.m.
Three more sachets of suspected illegal drugs were retrieved from Arquillo after PDEA officers searched him.
Arquilo is now facing charges on Violations of Section 5 and Section 11 of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.
Section five pertains to sale, trading, administration, dispensation, delivery, distribution and transportation of dangerous drugs and/or controlled precursors and essential chemicals and Section 11 is the possession of Dangerous drugs.
He is now detained at the Baguio City jail.
Arquillo said he earns P15,000 per month from his job as a tourist guide.
However, PDEA-CAR officials believe Arquillo's clients or partners may likewise be posing as tourists.
Arquillo is a native of Cadiz City, Negros Occidental and lives in Gabriela Silang here in Baguio City. (Visha Calventas)
