After the Senate inquiry by the chair of the committee on agriculture and food chaired by Cynthia Villar on the resurgence of a cartel in the face of the rising cost of garlic in the local market, native garlic from Ilocos region sold at the La Trinidad old trading post remain at P200 per kilo.
