SubscribeTABUK, Kalinga - Various schools in the province participated in drumming-up the advocacy on proper nutrition this July, which is tagged as Nutrition Month.
With the Theme: "Sa pagkaing tama at sapat, wastong timbang ni baby ang katapat," Kalinga had a province-wide observance highlighted by various literary competitions among schools.
Updates on President Benigno Aquino III's presidency
Municipalities scheduled their respective observances started by Pasil on July 21, Tabuk, July 22; Balbalan, 23; Lubuagan, 26; Tinglayan, 26; and Rizal, 29. Pinukpuk and Tanudan have no schedules yet.
Among the literary competitions in the school level include cooking, poster making, slogan writing, jingle composition, draw & tell, well baby, nutri-quiz, dance, extemporaneous speech, declamation and Kalinga got talent. (Larry Lopez)
