Laborer killed in Abra shooting

A CONSTRUCTION worker died in a shooting incident in Abra province.

Police identified the fatality was identified as 21-year-old Roel Barola Banayos, a construction worker and a resident of Saluden, Balacao in Bangued.

Investigation showed Banayos had an argument with lone suspect Samson Blanes Banayos and at the height of their argument the suspect shot the victim in the abdomen.

The suspect immediately fled and is now subject of manhunt operation by the Bangued police. (Maria Elena Catajan)
