CSC eligibility recognition has been granted to barangay officials.

Unanimously voting in favor of the proposal, City Councilors said the same should extend to councilors, vice mayors, vice governors and board members a well.

More than 16,000 legislators would benefit from the proposal, councilors of Baguio said.

The Philippine Councilors League has likewise been advocating this bid. Those who will be eligible are officials who served three terms, but not necessarily continuous.
