A MEETING with all vendors will soon be called as the night market is about to end in May.
Mayor Mauricio Domogan said feedback from the operation of the night market at the Athletic Bowl earned mixed reactions.

Some claimed the night market was effective while others are clamoring to return to their former vending areas along Harrison Road.
The mayor said he would call a meeting with affected vendors to obtain a consensus of what they really want.
Night market vendors were transferred earlier to Athletic Bowl, temporarily.
Their transfer was implemented to ensure efficient collection of kuartais and to put order in the business district.
Continued stay of night market vendors along the sidewalks of Harrison, Diego Silang, Calderon and Magsaysay reportedly obstructs passageways and poses danger, especially to motorists.
The association of night market vendors earlier submitted a petition to City Hall asking to be brought back to their former selling areas. They claimed they have not been earning enough at the Athletic Bowl.
As classes are about to resume, the affected vendors said if they are allowed back to the central business district, they could raise enough money for the tuition of their children.
