APPLICANTS who wish to join the Philippine National Police (PNP) or get a promotion may now apply through the Internet to schedule their appointment with the National Police Commission (Napolcom).
Pursuant to its constitutional mandate to administer and control the PNP, Napolcom will conduct again the PNP Entrance and Promotional Examinations on April 29 at the University of Baguio.
Regional Director Pedro Mangannon said an online scheduling system will be utilized by the agency to streamline its operations and hasten the application process for entrants and police offers seeking promotions.
Interested applicants should log in at the Napolcom website, click the examination application scheduling system, fill out the required data and submit the filled-out electronic form in the website.
“If a confirmation appears after entering data and sending it to the site, it means the submission process is successful. If not, the applicant should repeat the same process until he or she gets a confirmation,” he said.
After receiving the confirmation, the applicant shall wait and print the letter-reply or confirmation reply from the Napolcom regional office for presentation when he or she files the application form on the scheduled appointment date.
“No printed online confirmation means, no application. Walk-in applicants without the confirmed scheduled appointment will not be entertained,” the director added.
The online application system only sets the schedule when the applicant will personally submit his application at the Napolcom regional office, which will be subjected to final review and verification by the agency’s processors.
The online scheduling system is slated on February 1 to 13, while the filing of application is scheduled on February 14 to March 16.
