Those wed on Valentine’s Day were Police Officer 3 Fernando and Teresita Pudao Ngayawon with Melthon and Cresilda Songcong Davis, Reynaldo and Anna Mae de Leon Federizo, Romeo and Jhonalyn Sungot Massagan, Ruel and Sharon Yadang Pintor, all opting to exchange “I Do’s” on the romantic day.
In the spirit of love, officials of the Cordillera police command stood as sponsors led by Regional Director Benjamin Magalong with his wife Arlene, Police Inspectors Elmer Soria, Roberto Soriano and Marvin Bolabola.
The mass wedding is the first of its kind since the church was constructed in 2009 by former Cordillera Police Chief Orlando Pestano for the use of personnel and civilians in the area.
Cruz said same ceremony will be celebrated at the St. Paul Church inside the camp even if it is not a Valentine’s Day as long as there are couples who would wish to receive the Holy Matrimony. (Ma. Elena Catajan)
