THE Home Development Mutual Fund (HDMF) or the Pag-Ibig Fund is set to launch a fully computerized system in line with its efforts to provide a faster and more efficient service to its members.

Pag-Ibig Fund–Baguio Office Marketing Division Head Lawrence Ocampo, in an interview, said Pagibig Fund will launch an online system wherein through the Internet and at the comfort of their own home or office, members can now access their account such as check their savings or do transactions like filing of loans.

Ocampo said all members, new and old, need to register online for them to facilitate or access the automation/computerization of Pag-Ibig’s database.

According to Ocampo, registration may be done through the website – www.pagibigfund., and access or ‘click’ on E-services and go to Pag-Ibig Fund online – Membership Registration, then select among the options – Register as New Member, View Registration Information, Update Registration Information using the POP Temporary ID Number, or Update Registration Information using the Pag-Ibig Membership ID (MID) Number, and then go with the required process, which includes encoding and saving or taking note of the tracking number that employed members need to submit to their employer.

Ocampo said members particularly in Baguio, Benguet and Mt. Province, which are covered by Baguio Pag-Ibig Office, can seek assistance from their office on how to register on line.

He also invited employers who do not have an internet facility to set a schedule with their office for batch registration.

Meantime, Ocampo disclosed that in connection with the Online System, and in partnership with Land Bank, fully registered members will also be provided with ATM Cash Card, wherein their loan transactions will be directly credited. This is an additional advantage as members do not need to go Pag-Ibig to claim their loan checks or go to the bank to en-cash it. (Lito Dar)
