Justice Hall gets rehab funds

REPRESENTATIVE Bernardo Vergara recently secured P5 million worth of funds for the rehabilitation of the Baguio City Hall of Justice.
The P5-million fund was sourced from the P185 million in savings of the Department of Justice from its 2011 budget.
The rest of the P185 million savings will also be allotted for the rehabilitation of other regional and municipal trial courts nationwide.
Aside from the Baguio Justice Hall, other justice halls in the Cordillera in Abra, Apayao, Tabuk City and Mt. Province will also get rehabilitation funds.
Other recipients of the fund are justice halls in Cavite City, Laguna, Mandaluyong, Tawi-Tawi, Leyte, Lucena City, Iriga City, Surigao del Norte, Bataan, Romblon, Marinduque and Quezon City. (JM Agreda)
