22-year-old rapist arrested

CAMP DANGWA, Benguet – Policemen recently arrested a 22-year-old man facing rape and child abuse charges in his alleged hideout in Sitio Bit-ang, Runruno, Quezon, Nueva Vizcaya around 11 a.m. Tuesday.
The suspect was identified as Roderick Tuguinay, 22, married, laborer, and a native of Lower Pitawan, O-ong, Hingyon, Ifugao. He resides in Sitio Bit-ang, Runruno, Nueva Vizcaya.
The arrest was made by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Ester Piscoso Flor of the Regional Trial Court Branch 14, Lagawe, Ifugao for rape and violation of the Anti–Child Abuse Act. The case has no bail bond.
Meanwhile, two wanted persons were successively arrested in separate operations of policemen in Benguet.
The tracker team of the Buguias Municipal Police Station (MPS) led by Police Senior Inspector Ruben Labutan arrested Mario Codiamat Osinio, 40, married, private miner, resident of Pugo, Baculongan Norte, Buguias, Benguet but presently residing in Acupan, Itogon, Benguet.
Policemen arrested him at the van terminal in Abatan, Buguias on January 14 at about 1:45 p.m.
Osinio was arrested by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Agapito Laoagan Jr. of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 64 of Abatan, Buguias for the violation of RA 9262 with a recommended bail bond of P120,000 for his temporary liberty.
However, upon presentation to the issuing court the accused posted his bail bond of P60,000 for his temporary liberty.
On the other hand, the tracker team of the Mankayan police arrested Fernando Sabag Paspasan, 25, single, small scale miner in Taneg, Mankayan on Jan. 14 at about 6:30 p.m.
The arrest was made by virtue of a Warrant issued again by Judge Laoagan, Jr. for robbery with violence. The case has a recommended bail bond of P100,000.
The suspect was brought to Mankayan MPS prior to turn over to the court concern.
“PRO-COR continues to arrest wanted criminals and moving forward together in keeping our communities safe,” Director Benjamin Magalong said.
