FORT DEL PILAR -- The Philippine Military Academy (PMA) is set to hold a leadership forum on Sunday to inspire cadets in becoming country leaders after they leave the hallowed grounds of the academy.
PMA information chief Agnes Lynette Flores said, “The leadership forum aims to inspire the cadets and for them to learn from the vast and invaluable experiences of invited guests and lecturers.”
Flores said the guests to conduct the forum are “outstanding leaders and managers in their respective fields of expertise.”
This year’s leadership forum guest speaker is Lieutenant General Salvador Mison, who will impart to the cadets life lessons and leadership point based on his own experiences.
Flores said, “It also aims to expose the cadets on various leadership challenges as experienced by the invited speakers.”
Mison is a member of PMA class 1955 and was part of the top 5 of the class.
There were only a select 53 graduates back in 1955.
Mison was put in positions of major responsibilities in the Armed Forces of the Philippines and retired from the service on June 30, 1987.
Mison is part of the Lucio Tan Group of Companies, serving as president of Basic Holdings Corporation and Fortune Tobacco Corporation, and a director of Century Park Hotel.
