CSC eligibility exams set on October 13-A A +A

THE Civil Service Commission (CSC) eligibility examinations are set on October 13.
The second career service examinations paper-and-pencil test (CSE-PPT) this year covers both the professional and sub-professional levels.
In Cordillera, the testing centers are Baguio City; Bangued, Abra; Bontoc, Mt. Province; Tabuk City; Lagawe, Ifugao; and Luna, Apayao.
The CSE is a general ability test designed to measure an individual's preparedness to enter government service. The examinations cover the subject areas of English, Filipino, Mathematics and general information. The general information includes items on the Philippine Constitution, Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees, peace and human rights issues and concepts, and environment management and protection.
Examinees should get a general rating of at least 80 percent in order to pass the eligibility exams.
On October 13, examinees are expected to be at the testing centers before the examination time; at least 30 minutes early to check their room assignments. CSC officials urge examinees to bring with them valid IDs.
