AT LEAST three were hurt after a 10–wheeler truck smashed into 13 vehicles Friday morning, July 7, while descending along Bokawkan Road in Baguio City.
Initial police investigation revealed the driver lost control after the brakes of his truck failed while traversing the steep portion of the road ramming a delivery van which collided with other vehicles creating a traffic gridlock in the area.
The truck struck a motorcycle, a sports utility vehicle, taxicabs and public utility jeepneys bound for La Trinidad, Benguet.
As of Friday evening, authorities have yet to release the identities of the injured people, who were already rushed to a hospital for treatment. ( Roderick Osis)
