PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte, with less fanfare, sneaked to Baguio City Wednesday afternoon to attend a wedding.

The President was among the principal sponsor during the wedding of Police Director for Intelligence Greg Pimentel and Department of Social Welfare and Development Asec. Michelle Ortega.

Ortega, who is part of a political clan that have ruled La Union province for nearly a century, is the daughter of late Baguio City councilor Robert Ortega.

Baguio City officials, led by Mayor Mauricio Domogan, welcomed the President upon his arrival at the Loakan airport together with Police Regional Office-Cordillera director Elmer Francis Sarona.

The wedding, which was closed to media, was also graced by different political clans in northern Luzon including Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos.
