What matters most is life

THE dazzling glow of the moon on a bright yet starless night sends us into whirling thoughts about the world beyond this planet of man, what really exists beyond the universe that we assume we know much about.
The reddish sunlight which seeps through the curtains and the soulful, or at times the hysterical crowing of a rooster on a neighbor's rooftop wakes us up at the same time each morning, and send us into a haste of our daily rituals. More often than not, something inevitable happens which momentarily propels us into a confused state as if we were traveling in a never ending maze of turns and dips. Predictably enough, another thing happens like the appearance of the protagonist in a literary piece which transforms the complication into a solution. Then, we face the day's end in peace, serene for the time being, for the next day is still another mountain to surpass.
A field of flowers possessing the fresh vibrant colors of rainbow in a misty day rustles as the gentle wind passes overhead. The bees flitting from one corolla to another collectively retreat, much like a troop of soldiers converging when the leader has announced defeat or when the king in a pride of lions roar in authority. Amazingly, all these things; living and not, big and small, numerous and scarce live together in harmony in the great circle of life. Perfect! This is life, balanced, interlinked and beautiful. All the activities happen at the signal of the time piece of life. Yet some believe that all these are accidental. The evolution of the universe that is known in the society, basically states that the universe and all the other organisms were created by chance. Then if so, what is the purpose of living and what matters most? Men do not know a lot of things and have more to learn. Probably, somewhere in this theory, there is a missing link unknown to man yet, about life's origin and purpose. What we know is that the world we are enjoying now is not the mere product of an accident. How would anything so beautiful, balanced and harmonized exist only by chance? We all have a purpose. Everyone came into this world with a mission. It was given by that Supreme Being who created us. He gave us the Gift of Life so that we can enjoy this world's treasures. This then implies that things happen because they are meant to be, and that they are in support of a master plan by our creator, a plan that involves all of us.
Life is a precious gift, and we are lucky that we are chosen. It is only proper for us to submit ourselves to the Divine Providence and offer our existence, our talents, our lives for whatever purpose it may serve Him. What matters most is that it is the only way to show that life wasn't just a mistake. It was worth it!
