Perfect two

“IF HAPPY ever after did exist, I would still be holding you like this,” as the song Payphone by Maroon 5 goes. Actually when I am still a kid a never believed in fairy tales which have a happy ever after. Princesses with their own Prince Charmings riding on a white horse or even a prince chasing those evils just to save his own princess. Because I know that it will only happen in stories or in movies.

As I grow older that came into reality wherein I have seen that happy ever after in fairy tales would actually come true. Know how? I have met this two people that gave me the life and molded me to be a good person of today. This two people I am telling you are my parents.

I was so really blessed that I am one of those people who grew up with a complete family and having a good life with them. Even if many would say that there are no perfect parents, I am considering my mom and my dad to be the most perfect parents of all because I will not grow at this age without the values being caught and being learned from the both of them.

As for now I miss seeing the both of them being together because my dad is in abroad working for us to finish our studies. But I am hoping that my dad will be home soon and will see them together again.

Time, days or even years may pass I know that my parents will stay together forever as they are now, still loving each other and still counting on it. Now they are already on their 21 years of marriage. Yes! That’s we call unconditional love because without their trust and love with each other they will not reach that long.

For me, they’re the perfect two and the most perfect parents which I have met and will treasure for the rest of my life and that would be an assurance. And I also wish for myself that I will meet my own prince charming who will love and take good care of me just like how my dad take good care of her queen which is my mom. (Angie Lea Serra)
