All In Good Time

GOD made man and then woman. He did make us first and eventually assigned man as the leader and the lover. Although with that thought he forgot that while we’ve been assigned in this world as the leader He realized that who are we to lead as the world was all amongst men. There now would be chaos and anarchy. When one rules he is the dictator, and when a "few" rule, it becomes a democracy. But then when "all" want to become the leader, then it becomes a laissez faire.

Unfortunately in the world that we live in, and when this happens, and yes it has happened and is written in history, there will definitely be some sort of craziness just because like most men they would want to rule. Yes, man will rule. Men are born leaders and that would surely make them above all. But then while there is only man, all want to become the "boss," so who's to rule amongst men? We would all end up destroying each other.

We were made too as lovers. To love and be loved, but then with whom? Surely, it is easy to say "I love you Lord" but would that be enough? It would definitely make so much sense to love Him but still is it enough? Then God made woman! Yippee, man won't have to destroy every Juan after all. We can now rule as husbands to our own families and that is already sweet success. We now get to be real leaders. Let's continue to be an inspiration to our kids. Seeing them grow up the way we wanted them to be also just in our "likeness" all beautiful in our eyes. He also brought forth woman for us to love, to build a family and spread our seeds of love, with children.

But then I now realize that he gave every Juan his own Juana. Indeed, he gave us someone to be with. He took bone from man, not from his feet to be stepped on nor that from his buttocks to be sat on and definitely not from the hand of man to be hit with. This bone was from his mid rib, to show that we are equal in God's eyes, this particular bone was on man's left rib nearer his heart, and thus to be loved.

My Joy is actually in Manila in training for her kindergarten school, thus I'm left alone with all three kids. I'm driver and cook, not to mention alarm clock and butler to each of them. Now I know how it feels to be a woman, plus all their sacrifices and hard work. And like many women around the world, we get this time to celebrate they're existence. For without them we are nothing.

While I may have been someone at one time, many might have thought that my Joy was just at home. But I tell you, other than just taking care of the kids she was a banker, a teacher, a certified public accountant my travel and running buddy, my auditor and inspector, now a school directress. So I together with all men salute all the women in the celebration of International Women's Day.

As we would slow down our steeds by saying whoa, I too have to say it again because definitely most women today are better than most men, as they are industry stalwarts, government and business leaders, athletes moving up the ladder in everything we do at breakneck speed, and by the way our best friends, our partners and lovers. I have nothing more to say but WHOA, man! That's AMEN to WOMEN.
