JIMMY Rudio Luzano, alyas Lolo Doro, or known to his classmates as Jaime Luzano, was born on 14 May 1947 in San Isidro, San Nicolas, Pangasinan to the late Don Mariano Ilasin Luzano and Doña Maximina Serquiña Rudio.

Upon graduation, Jimmy was employed immediately at the Manila Electric Company (Meralco), but did not last long for in his mind he has other interests.
In his childhood, Jimmy was fondly called "BOY" by his family members and the community. He grew in rural area where basic needs are at hand that made him a responsible person. His hobbies include fishing, cycling, gardening, livestock tendering, and hunting. Jimmy was bestowed with talents like writing poems, essays, short stories, novels, singing, composing songs, and playing some musical instruments; talents that augmented his schooling.
In his writing or literary talent, Jimmy started writing poems, which he sent to the famous Ilocano magazine BANNAWAG. Later on, writing poems extended to essays, short stories, features and novels, one of which was entitled "BALAY TI KATAWA", one of the longest published novels of the magazine in the mid-60's. He was a member of the first GUMIL-PILIPINAS (Gunglo't Mannurat-Ilokano).
He tried also writing Ilocano drama by co-authoring "Magsaysay, Bannuar ti Pagilian" as his maiden venture, which was serialized by Northern Broadcasting Company DZWX in the late "60's. Thus started his career in the broadcast media and the birth of "LOLO DORO", the late actor/comedian Pablo Vertuso as his model personality. In his being a mediaman, writing drama has become part of his bread and butter and in the mid "80's, DINO CRUZADO burst with a bang in the airwaves, a drama aired in all sister radio stations of DZWX in Luzon which lasted for more than two (2) years.

All of these as the first chapter of his media career up to 1984.
When NBC was acquired by Bombo Radyo, this wacky, funny personality abruptly changed into a fierce voice in the new format of commentary program. In early 1993, he took the guts when he was promoted station manager of DZWX. In just a short period of assuming the post for five (5) months, in June, 1993, Jimmy was promoted area manager for Northern Luzon of Bombo Radyo Philippines which lasted until July 5, 1998 when he tendered is optional retirement from the company, was rehired and stayed with Bombo Radyo for the past 12 years until he was asked by the management to retire because he already reached the age of retirement.
