Fostering Magic, Music Courage and Hope during Holidays

IN THE midst of tragic loss of lives, damages to towns, properties and disappointing developments in Philippine Politics that leave much to be desired, the Filipino marches on, and will continue to rise in the knowledge and faith that there is so much to live and be thankful for.

Truth be told, while most of the public and private organizations and companies like us have cancelled Christmas parties or shifted to a more modest and simpler celebration to contribute to Yolanda’s relief and recovery efforts, we cannot however, cancel the Christmas Spirit.

Fostering courage and hope this Christmas takes a musical turn for BCC just last Sunday, December 8, when it held its 10th Christmas Chorale Competition for Elementary, High School and Tertiary divisions.

Please allow me to congratulate all schools and universities for their continuous active participation and support to the Chorale Competition for the last 10 years.
The reason we continue to support this annual chorale is to continue to foster the Christmas Spirit among our youth.

For this year, the bragging rights for each division went to the following: 10TH BCC Chorale Competition Results: Elementary Division Best in Costume: Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Montessori

During the holidays let us not forget the reason for the season, which is to foster faith, hope and love in commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, with our families and loved ones to share it with.
