AS EARLY or as late as now, we are witness to the ongoing power play or turf war among the protagonists of our yearly Flower Festival. And just to put it, it's not fun.

Since Baguio Flower Festival Foundation, Incorporated chairman Anthony De Leon announced the transfer of the landscaping together with the market encounter area from the skating rink to Lake drive, some political personalities have shown disgust with this move.

This apart from the full control and supervision of BFFFI of its operations with the assurance of the auditing and accountability of the foundation of all monetary benefits it will generate during the month long celebration.

Well why not? At least the Baguio residents are assured the monetary benefits will be used for the noble purpose it should serve. Unlike in the past when political and government personalities with their foreign business partner raked in money which have not been accounted for after dipping their golden rotten hands in the pudding.

Hoh! Hoh! Hoh! And to think, we only have a day before the yearly spectacle starts its month long festivities. Hmmm.
These "thugs" have taken advantage of Panagbenga for so long.

Man oh man, what losers do we have in the city! The three stooges have forgotten this event is an event for the people, by the people, and for the people! What right do they have to strangle the number one crowd drawer of the country’s Summer Capital?

Is it so hard to make a buck? Or is this the way they were bred? Gosh! I wonder how their parents will feel if they only knew how the three "thugs" of Panagbenga operate.

But despite the delaying tactics of the three "thugs", ADL's quest to eliminate them from the picture is proving to be an intense battle for supremacy.

One thing good is that they have now met their match! And for the people of Baguio, do not forget the political personality of the three "thugs".

According to the political grapevine, he is now pre-positioning himself to be popular for the 2016 local polls to be the second in command and eventually get to the highest local position which MGD now holds.

How dare the people of Baguio if they vote for this person when in fact he does not deserve this position!

Let's help eliminate these "thugs"! Let us not allow them to act like kingpins of the City of Pines! And let us not forgive them for trying to stall one of the country’s major tourism events just to make money from it!
