FOLLOWING the issuance of a Department of Education (DepEd) order allowing students who have not fully paid their tuition fees to take final exams, parents were encouraged by a youth group to report violations.
“The DepEd order is very clear in stating that strictly no graduation or non-academic fees should be imposed on students this graduation season,” said the Kabataan Party-list.

Kabataan Cordillera coordinator Adrian Galang also challenged DepEd-Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) Director Josefina Tamondong to be exemplary in its implementation.
Galang also reminded parents to file their complaints with the DepEd if schools violate the latest order.
“We remind parents the DepEd recently heeded our call to allow students with unpaid fees to take their final examinations,” he said. (Rimaliza Opiña)
