SME Nation head John Nanquil explained that it was formed because of the growth of SMEs in the country.
He said SMEs compose 99.6 percent of all businesses in the country and provides 70 percent of the labor force.
SME nation services allow SME owners to move around, discover other opportunities while monitoring their business through the internet.
“Anywhere they go, they can see what is happening in their business,” Nanquil said.
Services
The SME nation services are: FAST Track, Negosyo Boost, and Watcher.
Nanquil explained the Watcher allows the owner to supervise employees. Watcher is a video monitoring solution.
The Watcher works with the internet and has its own internet connection and own bandwidth. It can also capture still shots.
The fast track service is a surveillance program where owners of SMEs can monitor field assets and deliveries.
The Negosyo boost is a business bundle consisting of PLDT business landline, myDSL biz, netbook and printer. It comes in different packages: negosyo boost launch, Negosyo boost advance and Negosyo boost on the go. Each package has different compositions.
Nanquil said SME Nation also provides fast services to customers since they have a spokesperson for every customer. Customers only need to communicate with their spokesperson and the spokesperson will help them every step of the way.
