BAGUIO City Police Office Deputy City director for operations David Mariano said Undas 2009 was generally peaceful and quiet.
Mariano said police operations for the two-day event were successful this year in terms of eliminating any untoward accidents during the All Saints' and All Souls Days activities.

He explained the police have been strict in monitoring and inspecting every individual who entered the public cemetery gate.
Mariano said only around 10 deadly weapons like knives were confiscated by police at the gates.
"Generally peaceful, walang incidents ng pickpocketing o mga nagaway," Mariano said.
He added that the rerouting scheme was very effective since traffic was smooth on November 1.
Mariano explained two major factors, which helped maintain peace and order during the Undas celebrations is the increased number of force multipliers and the decreased in the number of visitors.
Mariano said more people visited the cemeteries last November 1 compared to All Souls' Day. (Visha Calventas)
