THE Cordillera police will remain the unbeatable regional police office in terms of operational readiness and security inspection test.
This holds true at least for Senior Superintendent Eduardo Octaviano, leader of the Assist Team for the Annual General Inspection (AGI)-Orsite inspection team.

"PRO-Cor (Police Regional Office-Cordillera) is still to beat in terms of AGI requirements, and has shown great enthusiasm in the execution of different Orsite scenarios," Octaviano said during the exit briefing for the AGI-Orsite.
The AGI-Orsite was conducted simultaneously in various police provincial offices in the region from June 29 to July 3 by a team of inspectors from the Philippine National Police (PNP) Internal Affairs Service and representatives from the various PNP directorates. The team was led by Chief Superintendent Ifor Magbanua.
The annual general inspection covers the period of June 2008 to June this year.
AGI-Orsite team inspectors lauded the operational readiness of police personnel in all police provincial offices within the PRO-Cor, including the ingenuity of the police officers in the discharge of their duties and responsibilities as law enforcers, despite the terrain and geographical location of their areas of responsibility and their good police community relations to serve and protect the community.
Meanwhile, National Police Commission (Napolcom) Regional Director Danilo Pacunana, who served as the guest of honor and speaker during the exit briefing, said his office would help address the concerns of some police officers who have yet to acquire their eligibilities.
The AGI-Orsite team also gave recognition to the Abra Police Provincial Office for playing a major role in keeping the province's peace and order situation stable.
The lack of personnel noted during the inspection in Abra will soon be filled up after the training of newly graduated officers who are undergoing their training in the province and the return of police commissioned officers (PCOs) who have undergone the mandatory Public Safety Officer's Basic Course as part of their career development.
