RICHARD Solang made sure he got the overall crown in the recently concluded Congressman Domogan Golf Cup after Koreans took the golfing competition by storm winning three championships.

Solang scored an aggregate of 53 points with a handicap of 11 to win the overall crown in the one-day golf for a cause tournament at the Camp John Hay golf course as part of Congressman.

Jong Won Park won the lowest gross championship with a score of 54 in the tournament aimed to help raise funds for Domogan's charity works.
"We were able to raise P600,000 and bulk of it will be given to victim of recent typhoons and at the Saint Louis University Hospital Palliative Care unit," Domogan said during the awarding ceremonies where close to 100 parbusters joined the tournament.
Doming Paglinawan fired 52 points edging Rudy Lockey and Fred Pucket who both settled for first and second runner-up in division A.
Korean Roh Tae Sik won the championship in division B by edging Frank Ratcliffe who settled for the first runner up honors with Herr Bautista settling for second runner-up.
In Division C, Willy Tacayan fired 48 points to rule the division beating Rey Leung's 46.
Dai Tsuchiya settled for the second runner-up honors with his 44 points.
In Ladies A Division, Hur Kun Soo edged fellow Korean Ji Hyun Lim for the division championship with Lilibeth Ratcliffe came in with 37 points which is good for the second runner up honors.
In Ladies B, Angela Yang scored 40 points to win the division crown while Beth Patterson and Silva Tsuchiya settled for the first and second runner-up honors.
Soalng also claimed the nearest to the pin award while Mike Ramat winning the most accurate shot and Yong Hee Chong winning the longest drive in the tournament.
