TRAINING usually becomes dull when individuals have no way to do their exercise routine because of health, work, tight schedules, or even because of the weather conditions. Proven in years of medical, physiological and psychological researches, life cycles feature biorhythmic ups and downs that mainly affect the individuals’ health and physical conditions.

Studies also have shown that one of the best ways to take care of such biorhythmic effects in individuals is exercise, patented to be a preventive measure; exercise is programmed to provide the necessary help to improve the individuals’ health and condition caused by the ill effects of environment and the individuals’ lifestyle.

Exercise can be practiced in many different ways, in the form of sports, as a hobby, to the athlete as a programmed routine, or as a therapy for physical conditioning and health recovery. According to Eduard Lee Thorndike (educational psychologist), studies on the law of exercise, also called the law of use and disuse states that the more a stimulus response connection is used, the stronger it will become, the less it is used, the weaker it becomes.

Remember the old maxim “practice makes perfect.” Obviously, the law on use and disuse was based on it, because practice leads to improvement especially when it is followed by positive feedbacks.

Positive feedbacks are the rewards or satisfaction of the individual as a result of practice and exercise; this also provides the individual the knowledge and motivation as the end result of practice and exercise.

On the other hand, exercising without any knowledge of the exercise itself is aggravating, and may lead to unwanted injuries that affect the individuals’ motivation to practice. Injuries also weaken the physical ability of the individual to perform, that comes in the form of a simple sprain to muscle cuts and torn ligaments.

Injuries coming out of the exercise of sports or simply exercising affect the mental and physical or sometimes even the behavioral balance of individuals in the field. Much more with people who have sedentary lifestyles, because they experience much the punishing pain of exercise when they indulge themselves to losing weight, recovery from illnesses etc. but the more punishing moments is its’ stressing effect that sometimes also leads to their feeling of depression.

Exercise is not a trial and error thing, it is a daily activity that we do, the fact that we exert effort in simple ways as doing household chores, walking, running etc. is a form of exercise that follows the theory of having a stimulus response connection coupled by motivation or reinforcements to be able to understand and learn better the insights why exercise is important to the individual.
