PSYCHED up for their biggest fights in their career, Team Lakay’s Honorio Banario and Kevin Belingon are ready to take on the challenge when they step up in the cage anew for the One Fighting Championship dubbed “Rise of Kings.”

Banario is featured in one of the main events of the evening in Asia’s largest mix martial arts promotion as he set his sights for the featherweight crown as the event returns to Singapore.

The current Universal Reality Combat Championship lightweight champion Banario, together with Belingon, who holds the flyweight belt, just wrapped up sparring and is set to cool down in the next days before flying to Singapore.

“We have the same game plan, whether on the ground or stand up, they are ready,” said Team Lakay head coach Mark Sangiao.

Two world championship fights are also featured for the One FC Lightweight World Champion and the One FC Bantamweight World Champion titles.

Brazilian submission expert Zorobabel Moreira takes on top Japanese Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) veteran Kotetsu Boku for the Lightweight crown and BJJ World Champion Leandro Issa battles former RisingOn Champion Soo Chul Kim when One FC heads back to Singapore Indoor Stadium on Saturday, 6 October.

“We are going back to Singapore to put on one of the greatest fight cards in Asian MMA history. The Lightweight and Bantamweight divisions of One FC are both incredibly stacked with the largest roster of Asian champions,” said CEO of One Fighting Championship™ Victor Cui.

Moreira, Boku, Issa and Kim, added Cui, are fighters that have proven they are the best and most exciting prospects in the divisions, thus giving them the chance to earn themselves a World Championship Title Belt.

“Each fighter understands the magnitude of a ONE FC World Championship Title being on the line and I expect each fighter will look to win impressively come 6 October,” said Cui.

Aside from the title matches, with the pool of talented Bantamweight fighters in Asia fast increasing, One FC has decided the best way to start choosing contenders for the title in the Bantamweight division was by putting on an eight-man Bantamweight Grand Prix.

One FC is bringing the best of the best from all over Asia and the world for the start of this historic tournament.

The Bantamweight eight-man Grand Prix kicks off with American MMA legend Jens Pulver taking on China’s rising star Zhao Ya Fei while Korean slugger Min Jung Song clashes with Japan’s very own Masakatsu Ueda.

Belingon is also be part of the grand prix where he is scheduled to take on veteran Yusup Saadulaev, a Russian mixed martial artist from Dagestan starting out as a wrestler and joined Russia Top Team in 2006 before moving to the US and began to train BJJ under Christian Uflacker in Chicago.
