Belingon makes weight for One FC: Rise of the Kings

BAGUIO’S lone fighter in the One Fighting Championship (One FC) events officially made weight and is now set to take on the new challenge in Asia’s biggest mix martial arts (MMA) promotions.
Team Lakay’s Kevin Belingon, the only fighter coming from the Philippines, is set to take on Russian Top Team Fight Club Champion Yusup Saadulaev for the Bantamweight Grand Prix.
One FC, in a press release said all fighters have made weight and are ready for the event which takes place at Singapore Indoor Stadium.
The entire card, which is headlined by DREAM Lightweight Champion Shinya “Tobikan Judan” Aoki and French MMA Champion Arnaud “The Game” Lepont and features two One FC World Championship Title Fights, will be available live on Pay-Per-View in the United States and available via live stream at www.onefc.com/Livestream.
Also, the eight-man Bantamweight Grand Prix kicks off with American MMA legend Jens Pulver taking on China’s rising star Zhao Ya Fei, while Korean slugger Min Jung Song clashes with Japan’s very own Masakatsu Ueda.
The Bantamweight Grand Prix will culminate in late 2013 when the finalist will get a shot at the prestigious One FC Bantamweight World Championship title belt.
One FC: Rise of the Kings will be available on pay-per-view in the United States on October 6 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT on iN DEMAND, Avail-TVN, DIRECTV and DISH for a suggested retail price of US$29.95.
