THE Second Mt. Cabuyao Run hits the road next month and is seen to give away medals for the top ten finishers.
Kicking off at the Baguio Athletic Bowl, the 14-kilometer foot race will be on November 24. It will start at 2:30 p.m.
Registration fee will be at P350, which will include a race bib, singlet, finisher’s medal and certificate. The finish line is set at the Nature and Adventure Site, Mt. Cabuyao, Tuba, Benguet.
Registration center will be at the lawyer Nicasio Aliping’s office at the City Hall and will begin on November 5 onwards.
Post run meal will be served at a bonfire picnic at the finish line, with raffle prizes to be given away during the awarding ceremony.
For those staying overnight, participants are advised to bring camping gear and be prepared for a cold night on the mountain, to be warmed by the bonding and camaraderie among runners.
Last March, the first Mt. Cabuyao run saw Cesar Castaneto winning the male division, while Marychiel Morales won the distaff side in the run for a cause that is for the benefit of the Divine Mercy Church in Tuba, Benguet.
