Panagbenga Darts sees action Feb. 22

THE country’s top rated darters are expected to see action in the P100,000 Panagbenga Darts Fest 2013 sanctioned by the National Darts Federation.
Seeing action on February 22-24 at the Sadati Bar 2, the three day competition is set to give out cash prizes and a championship trophy in the event organized by the Sadati Dart Club featuring eight categories to be played.
Tournament format will be a single round knock out game for all the eight categories with the Local Government of Baguio and Councilor Joel Alangsab supporting the event.
Events on tap are Classified Draw Doubles, Fixed Four Person Team, Youth Singles, Classified Draw Triples, Classified Draw Doubles, Ladies Single, Seniors Single and the main draw of the event, the Open Singles.
Winner in the open Singles brings home a whopping P10,000 in cash prize in the best of nine finals series while the first runner up gets P5,000 with the second and third runners-up, respectively, will receive P2,500 and P 1,000. Registration is pegged at P250.
The Classified Draw Doubles will give out P8,000 for the champion while the first runner-up gets P4,000 as the second and third runners-up bring home P2,000 and P1000, respectively, as registration is pegged at P200.
Champion in the Fixed Four Person Team gets P8,000 while the first runner-up gets P4,000 as the second and third runners-up bring home P2,000 and P1000,respectively, with a registration P800.
Winner in the Youth Singles category brings home P1,000 while the runners–up get P500 and P250,respectively, with free registration.
Six thousand pesos will be the top purse in the Classified Draw Triple with the first runner –up winning P3,000 while the second and third runners-up get P1,500 and P750, respectively with registration fee at P150.
The Classified Draw Doubles which will be a Killers-01-Choice game is set to give out P4,000 in cash prize while the second placer brings home P2,000 with the third and fourth placers receiving P1,000 and P500, respectively, with a registration fee of P150.
A P2,000 cash prize will be given in the Ladies Singles while the Seniors Singles champion brings home P2,500 with registration at P200 and P150, respectively, with Robson Razor as the official dart board.
Sanctioned by the National Darts Federation, the tournament is also being backed by Alfonso 1 Light, Robson Sportscraft and Grip X Robson Tungsten series.
