PNP to help in Balili efforts with fun run

EFFORTS to save the Balili River gets a new lease of life as the Regional Public Safety Battalion, Police Regional Office-Cordillera is set to fire off the Balili Run next month.
Slated March 10, the run dubbed “Water is Life. Run and Save Balili River” is in coordination with the Regional Police Community Relations Division, Camp Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad.
Four race categories are set to greet runners from all over the region expected to answer the starting gun for the run.
Proceeds will be used in the clean- up drive of Balili River in coordination with the Balili River Revitalization System Coalition.
Categories registration fee for the upcoming race will be at P200 for the 3 and 5 kilometers while 7 kilometers will be at P250.
The tough 21 kilometer category will have a registration fee of P600 that will give out t-shirts and certificates for all the runners.
Cash and medal prizes await the top finishers in each category.
Registration is now open for the footrace which starts at 5 a.m. at the Burnham Park Lake Drive.
Registration forms and fees may be submitted to the Regional Public Safety Battalion, PRO-COR with Tel No. 420-9212, Regional Police Community Relations, PRO-COR with Tel No. 422-7289.
Registration may also be sent at the Police Community Relations Section, Baguio City Police Office with Tel No. 300-9409.
