Red Cross Run in Kalinga nets P85,560

TABUK CITY, Kalinga – The Red Cross Kalinga Chapter has collected a net proceed of P85,560 during the recent Million Volunteer Run 2 with the theme “Run to Save Lives” in the province.
Kalinga Red Cross Administrator Glorina Diaz said that as of press time, gross collections has reached P133,200 where P55,990 was utilized for incidental expenses.
During the event, at least 512 registered but only 490 came for the actual run, which she said composed mostly of sponsored students.
The collected funds would support the prime services of Red Cross Kalinga and also the typhoon victims in Mindanao, which is the main objective of the said volunteer run. (Geraldine Dumallig)
