Support pours in for 1st 32K September Run-A A +A

VARIOUS groups and running enthusiasts have committed their all-out support to the upcoming 1st 32K September Run scheduled September 8, from the Burnham Lake Drive up to Ampucao, Itogon, Benguet and back to the Lake Drive.
The 32K September Run is one of the activities for the month-long celebration of the 104th Charter anniversary of Baguio City.
Registration forms are now available at the guard post of Laperal Building, Session road where aside from the 32K category, other side events of the said run will be the 3K for children below 13 years old, 5K and 10K both for male and female runners.
Registration fee for the P32K is P600 that includes singlets, finishers medal, certificate and light snacks; 10K is P400, inclusive of singlets, certificate and light snack; 5K is P300, inclusive of singlet, certificate and light snack while 3K is P50 with no singlet but with certificate and light snack and P300 for those interested to have singlets. Except for the 3K kiddie division, all participating runners will also be entitled to free SIM cards from Globe.
Twenty percent discount will be given by the organizers to participating senior citizens.
Top three finishers for the 32K run will be receiving medals and cash prizes with the top runner receiving P5,000 while the second and third placer brings home P4,000 and P3,000. The fourth to tenth placers will be receiving medals and P1,000 each.
In the 10K category, first place will get P2,500 cash and medal, second place will receive P2000 cash and medal while the third placer will get P1,500 cash and medal. The first placer in the 5K category will get P2,000 in cash and medal, second place – P1,5,00 cash and medal and third place – P1,000 in cash and medal. First place in the 3K kiddie category will receive P1,000 cash and medal, second place – P600 cash and medal and third place – P400 cash and medal.
Organizers emphasized unregistered racers will not be allowed to participate in the event.
Foreigners are allowed to participate in their desired categories provided they present to the organizers their valid working visa or student visa and Philippine school identification card.
