IT'S all systems go for the upcoming 32K September Run slated September 8 at the Burnham Lake Drive.
Registration formally closes September 7 with no onsite registration to ensure order of the event lined up as part of the month long Baguio Day Celebration that features the 32K, 10K, 5K and 3K events.
Registration forms are now available at the guard post of Laperal Building, Session road, Baguio City where the central registration area is also located.
Top three finishers for the 32K run will be receiving their medals and cash prizes, specifically, P5,000 - first place, P4,000 - second place and P3,000 - third place. The fourth to tenth placers will be receiving medals and P1,000 each.
In the 10K category, first place will get P2,500 cash and medal, second place will receive P2000 cash and medal while the third placer will get P1,500 cash and medal. The first placer in the 5K category will get P2,000 in cash and medal, second place - P1,5,00 cash and medal and third place - P1,000 in cash and medal. First place in the 3K kiddie category will receive P1,000 cash and medal, second place - P600 cash and medal and third place - P400 cash and medal.
Organizers emphasized unregistered racers will not be allowed to participate in the event. Foreigners are allowed to participate in their desired categories provided that they present to the organizers their valid working visa or student visa and Philippine school identification card.
