THE Baguio Country Club in partnership with Philippine Regional Office – Cordillera will once again host the 2nd GM’s Cup Invitational Funshoot to be held at Camp Bado Dangwa Firing Range on November 15-16.
More than a hundred shooters are expected to join this year’s funshoot that will showcase their gun firing skills.
BCC recreations manager Roanne Garcia said the second installment of the event will still be in line with purpose of BCC general manager Anthony De Leon to strengthen the partnership between the private sector and the government, mainly law enforcers in co-instituting security especially to the city’s tourists and locals alike.
“Aside from hobby ni GM ang firing at airsoft, mas nadedevelop kasi ng mga participants ang proper etiquette sa paghawak ng mga firearms,” said Garcia.
“This competition is open to all so from 123 shooters last year we expect na the second instalment will gather more participants to make the event more fun and enjoyable,” Garcia added.
Registration for the event will be at P500 where winners will receive trophies and medals, and will also entitled to win raffle prizes.
Participants are expected to come from BCC members and employees, guests, the Philippine National Police, and some from the media.
There will be four shooting courses for all participants except for BCC employees who will only be playing two and will be using a minimum of 50 bullet rounds only.
