Nanoy Cup tees of December 30 at BCC-A A +A

SOME 200 parbusters from all over the country are set to swarm the 18 hole par 61Baguio Country Club fairways for the 14th staging of the Nanoy Illusurio Cup.
Accuracy, patience, and ball control will be tested as golfers try conquer the short but tricky BCC layout in a one-day golf tournament set December 30.
The golf tournament is in honor of the late Potenciano “Nanoy” Ilusorio, BCC president emeritus and chairman for life and conceived to give impetus on the life and works of Nanoy – a sportsman, a leader and a visionary, whose heart and ideals have touched lives of countless people.
The men’s division will have four classes, while the ladies’ and the seniors’ divisions will be shared by three classes.
The mode of play will be system 36 for the sponsored guests and for players with no handicap as of December 2013.
The dependents division will feature class A (17-25 years old), class B (11-16 years old) and class C (10 years old and below) and will use the medal play.
Special prizes will be given in hole number 2 for the most accurate drive, the nearest to the pin will be at hole number 1, while longest drive will be at hole number 11 and a special award for the golf course inspector.
Gimme putts will be allowed to speed up play and all holes will be marked.
Awarding will be on December 30 at 6:00 in the evening at the Ambassador Francisco V. Del Rosario hall.
Ceremonial tee off will be on December 28 at 4 p.m. followed by a wine and cheese party at the 6 p.m. to be held at par 7.
Registration fee is set at P1,500 for members, while guest will be at P3,000, and mulligans will be P200.
