FORMER featherweight title contender Eric Kelly officially made his weight as he battles another contender Rob Lisita in the main event of the One FC: War of Dragons at the National Taiwan University Sports Center.

The Igorot mix martial artist will return to Asia’s largest MMA promotions following a seven-month layoff in the stacked 10 bouts of the evening.

"Rob Lisita and Eric Kelly are two of the best featherweights in the world and both of them consistently deliver crowd-pleasing bouts. The winner of this bout will set himself up to challenge Koji Oishi, the reigning ONE FC Featherweight World Champion, for the title in the near future," One FC CEO Victor Cui earlier said.

The 32-year-old Kelly was last seen in One FC when he yielded to Team Lakay’s Honorio Banario via technical knockout for the inaugural featherweight championship in February 2013.

His opponent Lisita is an Australian featherweight who has been on a tear in recent bouts. He has won seven of his last eight bouts, and in his One FC debut last May, avenged the only loss in that streak by knocking out Yusuke Kawanago.

Lisita is ruthless in going for the finish and has seen the final bell only three times in his 14 victories.

One FC also announced only one fighter did not make it into today's event with Zhang Zheng Jie failing his pre-fight medical and is unable to compete. He will be replaced by his teammate Eliot Corley, who will now meet Malaysia’s Rayner Kinsiong. Kinsiong failed to make the 70.3kg One FC lightweight limit and the bout will now proceed at a catch weight of 71.1kg.

The co-main will feature the lightweight bout between Rafael Nunes and Koji Ando while a bantamweight match up against Yusup Saadulaev and Koetsu Okazaki will banner the main card.

Mohamed Ali tests the mettle of Jake Butler in their light heavyweight bout while Mahmoud Hassan squares off with Paul Cheng in the heavy weight division.

Another heavyweight match will be featured in the evening with Chi Lewis Parry taking on Alain Ngalani while bantamweights Nicholas Lee and Sung Ming Yen tests each other.

An undercard featuring welterweights Bala Shetty and Jeff Huang will open the evening while a catch weight match up in the 71 kgs will feature Rayner Kinsiong and Eliot Corley.
