Baguio MX riders scores win in NAMSSA

TEAM Baguio MX riders once again landed in the podium bringing trophies at the close of the 2014 National Motorcycle Sports and Safety Association National Motocross Championships round 4.

Two of the Summer Capital’s rising stars in motocross biker topped their respective class edging their rivals during the weekend race at the Speedworld MX Circuit, Bicutan in Paranaque City.

JayPaul Samuel Wayet was once again a class of his own by dominating the 50 cc boys division and then placed fourth in the 65 cc category.

Mia Villalon was the top girl racer in the 50 cc category and snatched third place in the junior 65 cc division.

Wayet edged Maiko Quilapo of Lucena and Cedrick Altamirano from Batangas in his Junior 50 cc conquest for another crown in Team Baguio MX’s long list of wins in the NAMSSA event.

La Union’s Walter Tschopp and David Viterbo of Rizal for a 1-2 finish in the 65 cc as Villalon and Wayet finished third and fourth respectively.
Kurt Amdengan came in both third in the novice open production and intermediate category while Carl Velasco finished fifth in the Junior 85cc class.

Benedict Pudlao came in 5th in the executive category while Ralph Cuilan made it to the top six of the
Junior 50cc category.

Team Baguio MX, backed by Bikemart, Bike Solutionz, Baguio Magic Detergents, HJC Philippines, and Dan's Bike Shop was also fresh from their conquest during the 3rd round held June.

The group also had a dominating run in the 7th Gov. Junie E. Cua Motocross Cup in Cabarroguis, Quirino on June 14 to 15.
