One FC Dubai card complete with nine bouts

ONE FIGHTING Championship world featherweight champion Koji Osihi defends his title for the second time against Mongolian Narantungalag Jadambaa which is set to at the Dubai World Trade Centre on August at the Dubai World Trade Centre on 29 August.

The jampacked card will also feature welterweight world champion Nobutatsu Suzuki battling undefeated wrestling superstar Ben Askren while lightweight world champion Shinya Aoki testing former UFC fighter Khamal Shalorous.

"Reign of Champions is set to be the biggest night in the history of mixed martial arts. A historic three world championship titles will be on the line on August 29 and will feature some of the greatest mixed martial artists from all over the world," One FC CEO Victor Cui said.

Oishi was originally scheduled to face Igorot fighter Eric Kelly, but was not medically cleared to accept the bout after his recent victory at One FC: War of Dragons. Jadambaa will step in to take his place opposite Oishi fresh off a victory over former One FC featherweight world champion Honorio Banario of Team Lakay earlier in May.

Completing the stacked fight card is James McSweeney who will drop to light heavyweight to take on Cristiano Kaminishi while Ann Osman steps in for Irina Mazepa, and will face Ana Julaton in a flyweight clash.

Julaton, a former WBO Super Bantamweight and IBA Super Bantamweight World Championships made a successful One FC debut by defeating Aya Saber of Egypt and will return to the cage looking for the second win in her mixed martial arts career.

Osman is the first female Malaysian mixed martial artist to compete in a major mixed martial arts organization. Osman possesses wrestling skills and powerful ground and pound, making her a tough test for any opponent. She made her debut in an empathic battle last October, and has been eagerly awaiting an opportunity to get back into the ONE FC cage.

Mohamad Walid will also enter the One FC cage to take on Filipino standout Vaughn Donayre while Muay Thai champion Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke returns to the cage against fellow Muay Thai specialist, Ali Yaakub. (PR)
