POLICE officer Crisanto Pitpitunge brushes off a long time lay off as he returns to action next month for the Team Lakay Championship 14.
Pitpitunge (8-5), who last saw action in the Guam based MMA promotions Pacific Xtreme Combat in May 2016 will top bill the event opposite Ralf Noy Fancisco.
The Team Lakay slugger, who held the PXC bantamweight title will also try to arrest his two fight skid when he takes on the dangerous Francisco of D’ Elements whose record stands at 16 - 4.
Seeing action in the October 14 undercard is Team Lakay’s Jon Cris Corton tangling with Jhunior Diapolit of Tribal Torogi while Mark Tidang, of Lakay Center Gym, squares off against Jessdan Dela Peña of Tribal Torogi.
Vincent Velaque of Lakay Training Center stakes his unbeaten record of 3-0 as he takes on Kenneth Banasan of Tribal Torogi while Jayvee Ban-eg of Lakay Training Center hopes to improve his 5-5 record against an undefeated Jared Almazan of Gridlock MMA.
Also seeing action in the undercard is Biondi Dayangadang of Lakay Training Center taking on new comer Arniel Lumayno.
The undercard will also feature a bout between Lakay Training Center’s Kervin Lampacan and Ryan Culas of Wellness Batangas.
La Union’s pride Jahn Serbo of Lakay San Fernando tackles Marcos Lampacan of Fight Corps MMA while John Naimes of Lakay Training Center is eyeing a win against Bryan Aban of Siamyout Muay Thai Academy Philippines.
Kicking off the event is a match - up between debuting Comelio Banna of Fight Corps MMA battling undefeated Ezra Saclag (3-0) of Lakay Training Center. (Roderick Osis)
