Dolosa crowned 2010 Mr. YMCA Bodybuilding-A A +A

BODYBUILDING buffs from 20 fitness centers and gyms participated in the recently-concluded Mr. YMCA Bodybuilding tilt to vie for the overall title.
Colossal muscleman Carding Dolosa of Biometrix/YMCA Manila gym captured the 70 kilograms (kg) division over Vigan Ilocos Sur Anatomys gym's Norbert Paz, while Mark Nahrill gym, Bulacan landed third place.
Phoenix gym's iron man lawyer James Kiat-ong placed fourth, leaving the fifth and sixth place to Iron Master's Kenneth Kayat and Melvin Batong of Exudus gym.
The annual bodybuilding tilt forms part of the YMCA's 69th Foundation Anniversary programs this year has 43 iron pumpers clashed in two categories and five weight divisions.
This year's exclusive category for YMCA neophyte iron coddlers in the junior division were Jerry Turgano bagging the championship, Jeffrey Bulawin first runner up, Ian Banawa second runner up, Rommel Tunanan third runner up, and Odilon Combis forth runner up.
Raymund Gunayon is judged champion over rivals, Paul Jhon Anis first runner up, James Vidal second runner up, and Elmer Lamoste third runner up in the seniors division.
Topping the 60 kgs under on the open-weight division is YMCA's MC Israel Pinlac who bested Real Fitness Gym's Gany Balao. Ron Panganiban of Iron Master gym came in second, Jim Carter Fianza clinched third over Randy Agpaoa of Real Fitness gym and George Yagac of UFC gym who placed fourth and fifth place respectively.
Orlando dela Bajan of Biometrix/YMCA Manila gym's symmetrical muscles bagged the gold in the 65kgs under over Baguio's favorite Rey Dulnuan of the Trojan's Fitness gym.
Wilson Abad of the Benguet Fitness Center pumped more muscles to grab second place over Cabanatuan City bet JC Zapiro, while Biometrix/YMCA Manila's Ding Cosain took fourth place besting Hector Gacita of Flex gym in La Trinidad who landed fifth place.
A close muscle-pumping encounter over time for the selection of the over-all champion for this year's Mr. YMCA Bodybuilding Tilt as first placers from the five divisions muscled it out for the crown. Tough choice of comparisons by the judges were made in finality after the eight mandatory poses where Carding Dolosa was crowned Mr. YMCA 2010.
This year's judges include Dr. Miller F. Peckley, VP for Institutional Development of the University of Baguio, Benny Maskay, Engr. Troy Mencio, Bernadine Michael, and YMCA board member and auditor Engr. Rex L. Ludaes.
